The Southern Alberta Art Gallery and the Data Physicalization Lab at the University of Lethbridge invited six artists to participate in a residency, documentary film, and exhibition that asked them to respond to agricultural data developed by Dr. Jamie Larsen and Dr. André Laroche from the Lethbridge Research and Development
Centre: Agriculture and Agri-food Canada. This artwork visualizes the DNA strand and the amino acid relationship for one of the wheat plants the scientists were working with: TA_CHSP_TFL1 or Chinese Spring Wheat.
Exhibition: Visualizing Agriculture curated by Christina Cuthbertson, Leanne Elias, and Denton Fredrickson. The documentary film, Visualizing Agriculture, is directed by Bryn Hewko, 2019. Artists in Exhibition included Jackson 2Bears, Christine Clark, Tori Foster, Mary-Anne McTrowe, Robyn Moody, Adrien Segal, Michelle Sylvestre.
